Our Story

Force Mechanical was built on a foundation of hard work, shared vision, and deep industry experience. Founders Jay Chenier and Phil Friesen first crossed paths at Armaur Plumbing, where they began as apprentices and steadily advanced through the ranks—becoming journeymen, project foremen, and eventually project managers. During their time there, Jay gained over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur, while Phil developed nearly 20 years of expertise in project management.

In the summer of 2014, they decided it was time to take the next step—to create a new standard of excellence in plumbing for the multi-family construction sector. By November of that year, Force Mechanical was officially incorporated. Drawing on their combined knowledge and the support of a dedicated team, Jay and Phil quickly established Force Mechanical as a go-to partner for reliable, high-quality plumbing solutions.

Today, Force Mechanical is proud to have over $125 million in projects and more than 6,000 units under contract (both completed and current). Our commitment to integrity and excellence was recognized in 2022 when we were honored with Marcon’s Core Value Award in the Supplier category.
